Azoo 2 Fan Cooling Unit

I have recently become concerned with the temperature my tank has been reaching. I checked the other evening before lights out and the tank was at 83 degrees. So I hopped online and purchased the Azoo 2 Fan Cooling fan to attach in my sump to help keep the water temperature down.

I have the RKE set to kick it on when the tank reaches 80 degrees. I will keep an eye on things for a day or two and then report back on how effective the unit is in keeping my temperature down. Pictures should follow in a day or two of how I have it set up.

First impression: The unit seems substantial and well built (well, well build for anything that has Chinese all over the box). The brackets that attch the units to the tank would be perfect for a rimless tank that is less than 1/2″ thick, but didn’t fit on the plastic rim of the 29 gallon All Glass tank I am using as a sump. Don’t plan on using this unit stock without doing some minor modifications to your tank or the fan.
